My Newest Arrival

On June 19th I finally had my newest addition. Kellianne came into our lives at 1729 that night following a placenta abruption. Wow what a close call! I once again went to labor and delivery for some bleeding. After a bunch of tests and an ultrasound were done, the doctor could not find a reason for my bleeding. So, she was getting ready to let me go home and about twenty minutes into her thinking about letting me go home, I started to contract and go into labor. Next thing I knew, I was on my way to the operating room to have my baby via emergency c-section. I had just made it to 36 weeks and one day.

When the doctor opened me up she said my placenta abrupted and the baby had a lot of blood in her sack as well. Thankfully, she is healthy. She was 5 pounds 7 ounces and 18 inches long. Kellianne was able to leave the hospital with me two days later!!!

My recovery has been much easier this c-section verses the last c-section I had with Jakob. I have been able to do a whole lot more and I feel good. Thank God for real doctors.
